Conditions governing the provision of „Store for me” service

The „Store for me” service enables the Customer to purchase products on Rariti.es and leave them in Storage with the Operator until a later personal collection or shipment.

1. General Provisions

The Service is free of charge. The Operator does not charge the Customer any fees for storing products.

The Operator is the entity identified in the legal section of the Website as the operator of Rariti.es. The rules governing the Service are binding on both the Customer and the Operator.

2. Use of the Service

The Customer uses the Service by selecting it during checkout. The Customer pays only the price of the purchased products and any other amounts indicated during checkout.

Once paid for, the products are stored by the Operator and remain the property of the Customer.

The Service may be used in particular to accumulate several products for later shipment together in a single parcel and for a single shipping charge, to purchase products available in limited quantities for later personal collection, and to collect products personally at the Operator’s premises or at an event attended by the Operator.

3. Storage Period

The standard storage period for each product is a maximum of 36 months from the date of purchase.

After 35 months, the Operator will send the Customer a reminder by email of the approaching end of the storage period and will provide an additional period of 1 month for collecting the product, arranging its shipment, or agreeing on another method of release. The reminder will state that, if this additional period expires without action by the Customer, the product may be sold on the Customer’s account.

If the Customer neither collects the product nor agrees with the Operator on another method of its release within the additional period, the Operator may sell the product in an appropriate manner on the Customer’s account. The proceeds of the sale will be paid to the Customer without undue delay, less only sale costs actually and reasonably incurred. The Operator does not charge any storage fee.

4. Inability to Ship

If shipment to the Customer’s country is unavailable at the time of purchase or when the Service is used, the Customer uses the Service at their own risk that shipment to that country may not become available in the future.

If, after the purchase of a product, shipment to the Customer’s country becomes unavailable, including after the product has been placed in Storage, the standard 36-month storage period does not apply for as long as shipment to that country remains unavailable.

During that period, the product will remain stored indefinitely and free of charge until shipment becomes available again, personal collection takes place, or another method of release is agreed.

5. Termination of the Operator’s Business

In the event of a planned termination of business, the Operator will inform the Customer at least 1 month in advance and enable the Customer to arrange shipment or collection of products held in Storage.

Products not released by the last day of the Operator’s business will remain available for personal collection for a further 6 months, unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.

After this period, the Operator may terminate storage of the product by selling it on the Customer’s account in accordance with Section 3.

6. Change of Operator or Legal Succession

In the event of a change in the Operator’s legal form, the sale of the business or shop, or the transfer of the business to another individual or legal entity, the Operator will, to the extent legally permitted, ensure that the successor assumes all rights and obligations arising from the Service, including obligations concerning products held in Storage.

A change of Operator or legal succession may not adversely affect the Customer’s rights under these rules.

7. Death of the Operator

The death of the Operator does not automatically terminate the Customer’s rights concerning products held in Storage.

The rights and obligations related to the Service will be governed by the rules applicable to legal succession following the Operator’s death and to the continuation of the business under applicable law.

If the business is continued by a legal successor, the rights and obligations related to the Service remain in force. If the business is not continued, the products will be released to the Customer under the rules applicable to termination of the business.

8. Liability and Customer Rights

The Operator will store products with due care appropriate to their nature and the conditions of their storage.

These rules do not limit the Customer’s rights under mandatory applicable law, in particular consumer rights.

9. Final Provisions

These rules form an integral part of the rules governing the use of the “Store for me” Service and are binding on both the Customer and the Operator from the moment the Service is used.

Matters not covered by these rules are governed by the applicable laws of the Czech Republic, taking into account mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable to the Customer.
