About the release

The debut album by the Polish band Empiria, featuring guest keyboard performances by Piotr 'Smrtan' Wójcik. A fusion of melancholic, romantic black metal infused with a distinct gothic atmosphere. Regarded by some as Poland's answer to Katatonia, the band sadly disbanded soon after releasing its only full-length album, leaving „Angeltears” as its sole legacy. These original cassettes come directly from the publisher's archive and, after nearly three decades, are once again available to collectors.
